Whenever possible, I'm trying to incorporate an existing piece as inspiration for the new look for each room. I don't know if I will be able to do so for each room, but I'm definitely going to try.
So far, so good. For the garden cottage bathroom, I used the cute little plates as my inspiration. I actually packed one up in my purse and took it with me when choosing paint, towels, etc. for the room. It worked pretty well and I'm really happy with the results.
Not every inspiration can be taken with me though.....
