Tinseltown Christmas Stocking
Pattern: I made this up as I knit along.
Yarn: Cuff: One strand of Berroco Lullaby and one strand of Berroco Quest in white colorways ( #4201 and #800 respectively). Stocking body: Plymouth Galway in red #16.
Needle: US 8
Time: 12 hours
General Thoughts: This stocking was a lot of fun to knit. Once in a while, I love the challenge of figuring something out as I go along. This stocking was gifted to my father in law after he asked if the stockings I had mentioned I was working on would be traditional red and white stockings. I then decided that his stocking should be traditional, but with a twist. This was because I knew I had the Lullaby and Quest yarn in my stash and the effect of these yarns together would be traditional with a slight twist.
The Quest yarn reminds me of tinsel.
