Which is it?
I'm talking about writing for blogs. Is it work or play? My knitting is definitely for play. Even the sample I made for the yarn store didn't seem like work. As the Hubby mentioned, I would have been knitting something either way, so it might as well have been something for the store.
As for the writing thing, I'm torn between what it is to me. Sometimes I put a lot of effort into an entry or two and it actually feels like work. What with the editing, fact checking (yeah, right!), and the final review sometimes writing little entries for this blog seems like a full time job. However, most of the time I'm just playing around. Having fun. Expressing myself. I don't really have a "message" per se, I just want to let out some steam or express myself creatively or maybe I just want to log my knitting progress. In those instances, I don't really take the time or care that I probably should.
In case you haven't noticed, I also like to ask a lot of questions. I am of an inquisitive nature at work and at play. I may always be pondering this or that, but I'm not always expecting answers. Just so you know. Comments are nice, but not mandatory. And I'm most certainly NOT begging for them.
Hee, wouldn't want to be caught begging for comments, would we? I hear you about the work. That is sometimes why I go many days without posting. I figure I am doing this mostly for myself and if I don't feel like posting and editing and adding links and resizing photos and...... I don't. I have taken to occasionally posting just a photo or a photo and one or two lines. Sometimes that says enough.

Stop begging for comments by NOT begging for comments. Or wait. .... never mind. ;-P
