I've been tagged for the 7 random things meme. I was tagged by both Shelly at Cats and Yarn and Michele at eKittie. Sounds like a good way to get back in the swing of blog posting so here goes:
7 Random Things
The Rules: Each person tagged gives seven random facts about themselves. Those tagged need to write in their blogs seven facts, as well as the rules of the game. You need to tag seven others and list their names on your blog. You have to leave those you plan on tagging a note in their comments so they know that they have been tagged and need to read your blog.
1. This is first time I have ever been tagged for a meme since I've been blogging (4 1/2 years). I thought I was under the radar--laying low as I like to call it. Guess I've been found out. Or maybe it was just a matter of time. In any case, I was tagged twice for the same meme, which seems pretty random in and of itself.
2. I am a rule follower. I like order, lists, and organization. More importantly, I like to have a plan. Nothing screams sticking to a plan like following the rules.
3. I didn't know I was a rule follower until I participated in a meme I found somewhere. I totally agreed with the assessment once I read it, but it was something I had never put together on my own.
4. I sometimes read a blog that I don't actually like very much. (NO, it's NOT your blog--I promise. It's not even a knitting blog. AND I'm quite sure the blogger whom I referring of does not read this blog.) Actually, it isn't the blog itself, but rather the attitude of the blogger behind it. It's kind of like a train wreck--I know I shouldn't look, but yet I can't not look once in a while. Everytime I read this blog, I end up wishing I didn't. I never learn...
5. I'm fond of even numbers and try to avoid odd numbers whenever possible. And I totally avoid the number 13. In fact, if this list was about 13 random things, I would have to do either 12 or 14 instead of the 13. This might fall under the category of weird things rather than random things. Whatever.
6. I'm rarely ever moody. I won't say that I'm never moody, but it doesn't happen very often. I think that's the reason that I have a difficult time dealing with those who do tend to lean towards the moody. Of course, it seems that I run across a lot of moody people.
7. I'm not much of a shopper really. I get in, get my stuff, and get out. The Hubby has the exact same shopping habits, so one might think that we shop together often, but one would be wrong. He doesn't like to shop with me even though we have the same shopping style. I guess he just want to get in, get HIS stuff, and get out. Can't blame him there!
I know a lot of people have already been tagged or participated in this particular meme, so I'm tagging some people who (I think) haven't already been tagged. Please do not feel obligated if you prefer to not participate in memes...
So, I'm tagging Daisy, Beth, Keri, Christine, Jessalu, Lorette, and CalamKnitty. And no hard feelings if you decide to pass on the meme thing. I totally understand.
