So stopping by the bookstore minutes before the store is threatening to close mall gates, forcing you to walk AROUND the big mall in frigid arctic weather instead of THROUGH the big mall where it is cozy and warm, is NOT a good idea. Or maybe the gift card that was burning a hole in my purse was the problem. In any case, I ended up making a bad purchase.
A bad, but knitting-related choice. Bad for me, I should say. I hastily decided to purchase the new Stitch n' Bitch book, Son of Stitch N' Bitch, because I already have the other two books by Debbie Stoller, only to get it home to see that it consists of men's patterns and I don't knit for men. Okay, I have occassionally knit for a man here or there, but I certainly never intended to purchase a book that focused soley on knitting for men. And the bad thing was that I KNEW that book contains patterns for men, but my frozen brain must have forgotten. It is awfully cold here.
I'm never going to use this book, which brings me to the main objective of this post. Would anyone be interested in purchasing or swapping for this book? Do you have a book or some yarn that you would like to get rid of in exchange for this brand new, but not interesting to me, book? Just drop me a comment if you wanna trade.
I've tagged you for a meme over at my place. Hope you'll play along!
